Big rabbit ears!

Wow! This rabbit really has big ears!

I find this picture quite funny, but I wonder if it is a real picture. I know some of the readers of that blog are experts regarding animals, so can you tell me if some species of rabbits have ears big like these? Thanks!

    yes it’s real. this rabbit must live in a very hot place by the looks of its seroundings. The rabbit uses its ears as a form of thermal regulation.

    meaning all those gross veins you see in its ear? its used to cool its blood throughout its body, and help heat when the hare is cold.

    so its used to regulate body tempurature. :)

    Nessa speaks the truth. It is a jack rabbit. the ears are the only way it has to cool its body.
