Wednesday, August 27th, 2008The long giraffes tongues are very impressive!

I did not know they could be that long! As explained on Wikipedia here, “A giraffe will clean off any bugs that appear on its face with its extremely long tongue (about 45 cm/18 in)“.

Monday, August 25th, 2008Well, that’s a funny LOL cat!
No doubt, this is an American cat.
For those who do not yet know what is a LOLCat, here is the definition given by Wikipedia just here: “A lolcat is an image combining a photograph, most frequently a cat, with a humorous and idiosyncratic caption in (often) broken English—a dialect which is known as lolspeak, or Kitteh!”
And for those like me who likes these LOLCats, I suggest you visit icanhascheezburger.com where there’s tons of them! You can even creat your own on the site…
Koala taking a siesta…
Monday, August 25th, 2008Seeing a koala taking a siesta is not very special. In fact, from what is written about koalas in wikipedia, the koala “rests motionless for about 16 to 18 hours a day, sleeping most of that time“.
So seeing them taing a nap is not a big surprise I guess.
What is funny though is the place where that koala decided to rest…

Sunday, August 24th, 2008Pikachu - Mouse or Rat?
Sunday, August 24th, 2008Oh! I did not know Pikachu was a rat!
In Wikipedia, about Pikachu, it is written: “Pikachu are designed as short, stocky, mouse Pokémon that have short, yellow fur with brown markings covering their backs and parts of their tails“.
But happily, like so many pictures circulating on the net, it looks like the yellow color has been added with Photoshop.
